Mr. Dean Bennett is a Certified Plant Professional by the North Carolina Nursery and Landscape Association, a NC Licensed Pesticide Consultant, and a Certified North Carolina Landscape Contractor Instructor. He holds a Master's Degree in Agricultural Education from NC A&T State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Florida State University. Mr. Bennett served as Program Director and Instructor of the Horticulture and Turfgrass Programs at Brunswick Community College for 15 years. In 2013 he received the National Association for Career Pathways Leadership Award and in 2015 the Brunswick Community College Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award.

Mr. Bennett has over 25 years' experience in the Green Industry as a teacher, a horticulture specialist, a consultant, and a program director. He provides expertise in agronomy, horticulture, education, and employee training. He remains active in horticulture and agronomy consulting, farming, teaching, and other forms of agricultural endeavors.
